TL;DR:

  • What it is: A brow powder
  • What it does: Fills in sparse areas, adds depth, and shapes and styles
  • Who it’s for: Anyone looking for nostalgia at the bottom of a brow pomade jar

The 2010s are back in a major way, and it shows with this iconic brow pomade. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade—which is in this month’s May Allure Beauty Box in either shade Medium Brown, Dark Brown, Soft Brown, or Taupe—is one of those beauty products that will always be remembered for its important place in pop culture.

For example, the multitasking pigment not only played a big part in Kim Kardashian’s beauty routine, but it also helped craft what we know now as Instagram Makeup™. Personally, it also marks that one week in 2016 when I thought I could do my own brows. (Spoiler alert: I could not, and still cannot, do my own brows.)

I should have stuck with it, though, because Dipbrow is actually easy to use—especially because it’s a jack of all (brow) trades. It shapes, shades, and fills in brows all in one go. As its name implies, it’s best applied with a small angled brush after dipping it in the pot and working excess off into the cap.

Oh, and it’s also waterproof, so, again, for someone like me, I wouldn’t have to worry about my look running once it’s set. Hmmm, maybe I’ll give Dipbrow another go…

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade is in the May Allure Beauty Box.
